The engraving of your choice is undertaken with respect to the technical and aesthetic specifications you provide.
Adjustment Service
A careful adjustment to your creation ensures that it fits perfectly and with the greatest of comfort. We skillfully shape the metal of a ring, modify the length of a chain, adapt the post or clip mechanism of an earring. This service is always undertaken with respect to the original technical and aesthetic specifications of the piece.
GENERAL ADVICE
When you store your jewelry, each piece should be placed separately so that the materials won’t rub against each other. This can prevent scratches and damaged gems. Most jewelry pieces come in a box or pouch from the store, which is a perfect place to keep them. We recommend you keep your Heartland pendants in their original case for protection. Jewelry boxes that feature individually padded slots for rings and posts for hanging necklaces are also ideal.
When you wear our jewelry, we recommend you apply lotion, cosmetics, hairspray and perfume before dressing in jewelry, as exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor precious metals and harm some colored gems. Also avoid exposing jewelry to household cleaning products or exposing jewelry to chlorine swimming pools or hot tubs.
The Safest Cleaning Methods
Most jewels can be cleaned with warm water, mild dish soap (no detergents) and a soft brush: gently scrub them with a soft brush dipped into soapy water, then carefully rinse them and delicately dry them with a soft, non-lint cloth. Be sure to rinse your jewelry in a glass of water to remove cleaning solutions since you risk losing loose stones. Attention, this cleaning procedure is not advised for pearls and emeralds. For those soft gems, such as pearls: use a new, clean makeup brush and warm, soapy water to softly clean them. Lay a strand of pearls on a towel to dry in order to prevent stretch from the silk thread.
Care Tips for Diamonds
Although diamond has the highest hardness, it can still be scratched by another diamond, and it can easily scratch metal and precious gems on other jewelry: we recommend you avoid any friction between diamond jewelries. Diamond jewelry is safe for ULTRASONIC CLEANERS. Diamonds can be cleaned with water mixed with any soap liquid and rinsed in clear hot water. To dry, gently rub with a non-lint cloth: this will restore the diamond’s original radiance. It can also be cleaned with boiling water mixed with a few drops of dishwashing liquid.

What the Heartland Pendants Guarantee Covers and For How Long
Your Jewelry has been made according to the strict quality standards of Heartland Pendants and with all the care of highly qualified jewelers. Nevertheless, the jewelry is covered by this Heartland Pendants Guarantee against defects in manufacturing and materials. Please contact us and we will be able to provide guarantee service as defined herein.
Heartland Pendants warrants its product against defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of two (3) months from the date of purchase (the “Guarantee period”). If the product is returned during the Guarantee period, Heartland Pendants will repair or replace any defective jewelry or part free of charge within a reasonable time after the product is returned, subject to the right to charge for shipping costs. Upon expiration of the Guarantee period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge.
What is Not Covered under the Heartland Pendants Guarantee
The Heartland Pendants Guarantee does not cover:
(a) defects and damages due to loss, theft or fire or other causes beyond our control;
(b) defects and damages resulting from misuse or negligence, or from accident;
(c) defects and damages caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing to the case, crystal, bracelet or strap, etc.), alterations, tampering, dismantling or services and repairs completed by anyone else than Heartland Pendants service center.
(d) defects and damages due to normal wear and tear;
(e) routine maintenance and cleaning.
